At AWS Smart Home, we are committed to providing high-quality smart home products and a seamless customer experience. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
30-Day Return Window
Customers may return most new, unopened items purchased directly from awssmarthome.com within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. To be eligible, items must be returned in their original condition, including packaging, accessories, and documentation.
Eligibility for Returns
A product may be returned if:
It is unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
It has a manufacturer defect or arrived damaged.
The wrong product was received.
Items not eligible for return include:
Products damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized repair
Items missing parts, packaging, or documentation
Clearance or final-sale items (if applicable)
Return Authorization
Before sending any product back, customers must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting our support team at:

Returns without an RMA number may experience processing delays.
Return Shipping
If the return is due to an error by AWS Smart Home (wrong item, defective product, damaged on arrival), we cover the return shipping cost.
For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery of returned items.
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 5–7 business days.
Refunds may be denied or adjusted if:
The product shows signs of use or damage
Components or packaging are missing
Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please request an exchange when contacting support for an RMA. We will process the exchange once the original item is returned and inspected.
Defective or Damaged Products
Customers must notify us of defects or shipping damage within 7 days of delivery. Please include photos and a description when contacting support so we can quickly resolve the issue.
Installation Services
Payments for installation, service calls, or on-site labor are non-refundable, even if equipment is returned.
